When I started Oak+Dagger, the name was inspired by the land that had been shared between my family and have been for years, in Shady Oak, MS. I imagined, for this collection to be filled with the comfort, movement, and simplest designs. 

The memories that I imagined are embedded on this land, from my grandmother's parents, my grandmother herself, mother, & sisters, are only that.. Descriptions that are from my imagination. I imagine the love, the playfulness, and hard work that contributed to this land. I imagine the open, country air surrounded by the smell of the cool, lush miles of grass that were gently dusted with the purest dew. I imagine the out the blue, spring showers, that flooded the roads and the quiet morning that arose thereafter. 

The Cottage Collection is just that, simple and sweet...to let the memories takeover, or in some little ones, their imagination.
